I just want to mention something about this little gif.

He smiles, yes, happy that Jamie can see him. but that little tiny movement of his mouth after that first realization, is pretty much what sent me into tears. That little hesitation, that little twitch into his smile. His eyes even wander around, his chest moves twice since he’s taking a couple of hesitant breaths. You know that feeling you get when your heart skips a beat? That’s exactly how someone breathes once they feel it. He’s mentally freaking out, in a good way of course. But he’s still ecstatic as he’s trying to process that someone can finally see him after being ignored (even by the other guardians, to an extent) for 300 years.

This boy has down-syndrome. I saw this video of the dog approaching him and trying to play. Firstly, the boy was terrified. The dog was incredibly gentle and continued to nudge the boy and comfort him. Then after countless attempts, they become best friends.
I think this is beautiful
